I finally found pine cone jam! This took me on an adventure I really wasn’t prepared for. Pinecone jam is made from young pine cones in a sugary syrup. Many use it for its anti-inflammatory nutrients. The syrup turns almost a red color and the best part is that not only are the pinecones edible- but they are delicious! I was not expecting for the pinecones to have a mushy, almost berry like texture 🤯 The flavor of the syrup just taste really sweet, but the pinecones taste like Christmas with an (obviously 🤣) piney flavor.
