10 years ago today. ❤️ We were in England to meet Nathan’s family and go to the Olympics. In between the two we stayed at the hotel where they filmed Four Weddings and a Funeral (we had the room with the infamous hiding-in-the-closet scene!) and he proposed in the rock garden. After I said yes, I asked him if anyone else knew and he said that on the day before we flew to London he’d secretly flown to New Mexico and knocked on my parents door to talk to them in person, and then flew back the same day without me realizing. The morning of our wedding day, he asked my sister to give me this photo. Turns out, one other person knew about the proposal—a photographer hiding in the bushes. Love you @updatenate
