When Fayza was born, her mother, Hayat, was scared and confused. After watching her newborn struggle to gain weight because of her cleft condition, Hayat was frustrated and unable to find cleft care. She immediately called @operationsmilemorocco_official when her cousin learned of the organization. Soon, Hayat and Fayza took a 12-hour bus ride to Tangier, where Fayza received surgery. Now, she is a happier child with a brighter future ahead. This week, Operation Smile Morocco began another surgical program in Tangier, reaching more families like Fayza and Hayat.
