Fall on the farm 🍂 brings simple joys in the little things, like appreciating the rich autumn hues draping the trees and gathering every shade of leaf we can find. It’s the way the leaves crunch beneath our feet (especially for Jack, all the firsts!), tossing piles into the air like confetti, and watching Jack try to grab as many as he can as they dance before him, squishing what he catches into dust as he shoves bits into his mouth with his chubby little hands. It’s playing soccer on the front lawn before dinner, which has mostly been warm, cozy comfort meals, and savoring daylight until the very last drop (has this time change felt 🥴 for anyone else?).
