WHY YOU SHOULD ELOPE... Eloping is not for everyone. Several of my couples scrapped their big planned weddings because they were honest with themselves. They realised that a big wedding just wasn’t right for them and instead decided to elope. I love all size weddings, but what I don’t like is seeing couples stressed because it’s too much for them to cope with. It could be family politics, feeling overwhelmed by organising such a big event or maybe you’re just introverts and the thought of all eyes on you terrifies you. It’s not often but when I do see a couple overwhelmed and/or stressed on the wedding day, I think to myself, this couple really should have eloped, they’d have enjoyed it so much more!
