I’VE BEEN MAKING THIS EVERY WEEK SINCE I FOUND IT 🍕BY FAR MY FAVORITE THING TO MAKE 😍 SAVE SAVE SAVE!! I’ve never put a long recipe in the caption before but this is from The Palatable Life !! dough: * 300 grams bread flour or all-purpose flour (2 1/2 cups) * 3 grams instant yeast (1 tsp) * 3 grams kosher salt (1 tsp) * 275 grams water slightly warm (about 1 1/4 cup) toppings: * 1 tbsp butter softened * 2 tsp olive oil * 2 cups cheese shredded (we used mozzarella and a little bit of cheddar) * any other toppings! pepperoni, hot salami, bacon, italian sausage, hot honey * recipe calls for 1/2 cup sauce, we opted out Add the flour, yeast, and salt to a bowl. Stir to combine. Add the water and use a fork or rubber spatula to stir until a rough dough forms, making sure there are no remaining streaks of flour not mixed in. Once the dough is made, let it rise at room temperature for 2 hours. Then, prepare the 9×13′′ and transfer the dough to it. Cover and let the dough rise for 1 hour. Gently stretch the dough to fit the pan, then let it rise another hour. Preheat the oven to 500F. Transfer the dough to the oven and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the par-baked crust from the pan and let it cool upside down on a cooling rack for at least 15 minutes. Return the crust to the pan (no need to clean the pan in between). Top the crust with cheese, making sure there is plenty of cheese around the perimeter (this is what gets nice and crispy and forms a beautiful crust). Then add sauce, then any other toppings. Transfer to the oven and bake for 8-12 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and the cheese on the edges is very crispy.
