what are your thoughts and experiences of the progress and work that still needs to be done within the beauty space and creator economy ? 2 years ago brands pledged allyship, creators posted black squares, paused and listened. 4 years ago I created my first Instagram page centered around creating community in the lack of diversity I saw for the brands that I was using. We've seen beautiful strides, from retailers pledging more space for Black owned brands, brands creating influencers programs that pay Black creators, to an overall increase in brands from Black, Indigenous, Latina/o, AAPI and other minority founders.
