I'm sure we all went to that phase. If you know, you know. I had a couple of favorite powder compacts before, a couple which didn't work, so since then, I stopped looking for and using powder compacts because, honestly, they tend to look heavy and made me more oily throughout the day. Let's see how this launch is different: CLAIMS ✹ Blurring and Matte but Not Flat: ✓ — Ultimate yes! Very silky to the touch too and the compact isn't powdery. I like how it stays light on the skin and how it just doesn't sit on top. ✹ Buildable: ✓ — It starts from light coverage which can be built up to medium. ✹ Long-wearing: ✓ — Definitely, I'm wearing it for 7 hours now and it's still intact. (See also the end of the video!) Quite transfer-resistant, but not entirely. ✹ Oil-controlling: ✓ — Yes, for now. My opinion on this will change for sure when the weather is super hot and humid. These days, it's just pretty rainy. ✹ Water-resistant: — Hmmm, my fellow creators' reviews showed it was indeed very water-resistant. It smudged a bit on me and that's okay because it didn't claim to be "waterproof" anyway. The fact that there's only minimal smudging + you can easily fix it by patting the skin is a plus for me. Will I recommend this powder? Yes. As someone who doesn't always use base makeup, this one is my alternative. It's easy to use and compact too. It's a big thing for me to say that this powder just ticks all the boxes for me. It serves its purpose as a setting powder and adds a bit more coverage due to its color. Will update you in the long run if anything changes.
