SALTED WALNUT FREEZER FUDGE// I am obsessed with making healthy freezer fudge but sometimes I feel like they are a little bit too much coconut oil heavy. This dessert sort of reminds me of the flavor of Halva if you have ever had it (a middle eastern tahini candy) but is easier to whip up in ten minutes at home. Tahini has many health benefits like b vitamins, vitamin E and walnuts provide those sought after omegas. What you need: 1 cup tahini 1/4 cup melted coconut oil 1/4 cup maple syrup 1/2 tbs vanilla extract 1/2 tsp salt for sprinkling 1/2 cup chopped walnuts Mix all ingredients except walnuts. Mixture should be smooth. Pour into a 3x7 loaf pan lined with parchment paper, add crushed walnuts to top and sprinkle with more salt if desired. Add to the freezer for at least 30 minutes. Cut into 18-24 cubes. Serve right out of the freezer! #pcos #pcosfriendlyfood #hormonehealth
