Rocco and His Bones - Live at the Melon Barn is out! This night at the barn was crazy bc it was mean sweetie's final show. People were really showing out for the bands all night and the support for this underground local diy bill was insane to witness and be a part of. The whole night was overwhelming and chaotic but also very wholesome and righteous. I feel very lucky to have this performance captured on recording. I can't believe I had my whole desktop computer behind the bar for this show lmao. We didn't have everything micd up bc we were really just setup to record mean sweeties set afterwards. Because of this you can rarely hear Connor on the floor with the second drumset; He got absolutely pummeled by the crowd anyway though, It was really survival mode for everyone on the floor during most of this recording. Same with Jackson on lead guitar, he had to squeeze onto the stage with us because so many people were packed in and he kept getting knocked over. They're not micd but you can hear both of them in the back if you listen closely. It was a night I love so much and won't ever forget. Thank you all immensely for this.
