abdoul aziz 🩵 in Senegalese culture we have an official baby naming ceremony exactly a week after a woman gives birth. it then extends into a post-baby shower celebration, except a bit more extra lol it’s an important day :) this was me at mine! growing up I was always amazed seeing all the women in my family look so good and ready to celebrate, only a week after giving birth! but I did it too 🙈🥹
