I’ve been working within the F1 ecosystem for the last 8yrs. Long before Netflix, and before F1 was even on social media. Seeing the growth since 2017 has been astonishing and I’m proud to have been a small part of that growth. I realize I don’t share enough work stuff on here and certainly don’t provide much context to what I do (as I’m genuinely quite a private person) but feel like I should give a taste. Throwback to the first ever cultural / streetwear / fashion partnership in @f1 (and possibly in all of motorsports) with @bape_japan. We activated this partnership with F1 back in 2018 over 2 years in Tokyo and Shanghai and many similar partnerships have since followed suit, some of which I’ve been a part of and some I’ve not. We shot the campaign at BAPELAND which was formerly @nigo’s house, did a 10 city tour of our static BAPE x F1 car, launched a capsule collection in two parts both of which sold out quickly, and to top it off with the help of the amazing teams at F1, pulled off the first ever streetwear podium at the 2019 Japanese Grand Prix and created some all around amazing content to support the first of its kind partnership. Looking forward to executing many more cultural moments like this in the future and continuing to open F1 up to new audiences. @f1 @bape_japan
