Finally, I got to try Gogotales' palette!
A friend of mine asked me to try this as it was very famous on TikTok, so I immediately looked into it.
If you thought Gogotales is a C-brand like me, it is actually a brand from The Colorist Malaysia, based on my search (let me know if I'm wrong!). If you're wondering, I bought this palette on The Colorist Malaysia's shop on Shopee because there were so many brands available in there!
EXPERIENCE
✹ I wasn't expecting much. However, I was surprised that the texture of the eyeshadows were very comparable to the K-Beauty shadows I have—especially Hince's.
✹ The packaging is sturdy and has nice weight. Since this palette is pretty affordable, I really wasn't expecting it to be of awesome quality—good, maybe? But really, who can resist this plushy packaging?
✹ The shadows aren't powdery nor are they chalky. Like most K-Beauty shadows, these aren't that pigmented which I love, because it's so great for everyday. They feel smooth, though not velvety, to the touch. There's a bit of kickback but that's normal. The pan size is standard too.
✹ The shimmers and glitters are the sparkly kind. I was expecting it to be similar to some of the shimmers our local brands came out with, but gladly not. It's very similar to the trendy K-Beauty toppers we know and love—sparkly and small though they have chunky glitter options too depending on the palette you choose.
✹ The pigment does not fade throughout the day. Cheap quality shadows tend to fade on the eyes after a few hours, but this one doesn't. They last well!
I wasn't able to create 3 looks using this palette as I usually do, because I'm super busy. I'll update you!
Have you tried anything from Gogotales yet?
Also, I'm pretty excited for the blush and lipstick I bought from Flower Knows. Yey!
