What a year! I remember when I got fired from my 12th job. I was 25. I had no idea what to do. I didn’t find the job that I loved after so many short stints at diff gigs. I always heard successful people say.. “If you love what you do you’ll never work a day in your life”. At the time I wasn’t looking for a job I loved, I was looking for money. Fast money. I became a mortgage broker cause at the time, in 2005 everyone was making money in the loan biz. You know the rest of the story. Millionaire by 26, broke by 27 when economy collapsed. Even today I say that what I learned in that biz made me who I am today in real estate. If it wasn’t for that happening I would never had landed in the real estate sales biz today. Everything happens for a reason IF you work your ass off. Like my mentors said... I don’t work a day in my life because I love what I do. I love my family biz. I love my clients, even when they yell at me daily. I love my team. I love my partner my brother. I love my wife, my ceo. I love how my kids see their parents do deals and work through life. Our numbers speak for themselves. It’s a simple recipe for all you entering the real world. Find what you love. It will take a minute, trust me. And when you do, remember how blessed you are to be able to wake up and do that every day. 2023 is not a fresh start. It’s a building block to where you are going. Don’t start from scratch.
