Before every ZEROFKS dance party, the dream I have the night before is that the sound system fails. Each event it’s never bombed out, but last night, it did. Mid dancing our assess off, the power went out — no lights, no music, 250 sweaty legends in a room. Ahhh, the dream (nightmare) came true. Within a matter of a minute Nicole — @theartisanssolutions was up on stage. A woman I’d never met until last night, standing in front of everyone creating a magical moment where the whole room started singing acapella to whatever song she started singing. Her dear friend @jessicaroberts_official nudged her to get up and buy us time until we got the system working again. What a friend! The deep fear I had turned into one of the best ZEROFKS memories where the definition of community came to life! Still blown away from this moment.
