Just an update on my weekly cold water swimming mission. After last weeks ‘golden, life-affirming sunshine’ success story, ( a true indication that cold water swimming makes you high as a kite ) this week has been a complete fail. I stayed up late watching Industry, got the worst nights sleep, woke with two hot squirming sons in my bed, looked out the window at the frost on the top of the cars and cancelled. Now I’m wracked with guilt. Going to try again tomorrow, but I’m petrified.
