It’s World Mental Health Day and I encourage all of you to find something that brings you joy, brings you peace, and allows you to breathe into your own well-being.
I’ve been very open about my struggles with anxiety, and I’ve found the cold plunge to be something that allows me to get in touch with my breathing in addition to its other benefits like:
⁃ boosts your mood
⁃ improves your sleep
⁃ speeds up physical recovery
⁃ boosts your immune system
You don’t need a dedicated unit— you can fill your tub with cold water and ice or turn the knob all the way to cold when you’re in the shower.
