Okay bbs, before I say anything I just want to say that I AM OKAY But last friday I was in an accident. It was the end of the day and I was meeting with my best bb to have a glass of wine after a long workday. I have been a little stressed and feeling wiped out, so naturally the only solve was a glass of chardonnay in the evening sun. I hopped into an uber excited to see my friend and gossip all night long. When I finally got there (you know that NY traffic), I jumped right out of the car, but realized I forgot my braided Bottega bag in the bag seat so I turned back to grab it. And it all happened so fast: A car zoomed by and hit me. I was SO lucky bbs because it somehow only grazed my leg. But i’m a 6.5 pound Italian Greyhuahua mix so you can imagine it hurt pretty badly. I was totally in shock, I couldn't believe what had just happened. All these people rushed over to me asking if I was okay and hugging me. Someone even offered me some chocolate. (Seriously bb, I already escaped death once today!??) I called my friend and she ran outside and we rushed to the emergency hospital. The vet bumped me to the front of the line and said that I had to stay overnight just to make sure there wasn’t anything we couldn’t see on the inside. And thankfully I was sent home with nothing but sore paw. Since then I’ve just been resting and sleeping on pain meds, but that’s why I haven’t been posting. Honestly I’ve had a lot of time to think while I’ve been recovering and I just feel so lucky to have a community that loves me. I’m forever grateful to you bbs. You really have made some dark days a lot brighter Love you <3 Boobie
