When we first arrived at the parade there was a little girl maybe age 7-8 who squealed “MOMMY THIS IS WHY WANNA BE A FASHION DESIGNER” & I turned to her said “you absolutely SHOULD! I made these all by myself” we then talked briefly about her bonnet she made the night before to which I said “girl same! Sometimes the inspiration comes last minute & u just gotta DO IT!” - it was in this very moment all my hard work was paid for in full by this little inspired soul🥹 THIS is why we continue to create.
