Alexios Peter and Eleni Virginia’s baptism weekend — it was so special for so many reasons!! When our amazing friends @peter_dundas & @evbousis told us they were ready to be parents, we were thrilled and excited for them. We have been there every step of the way and witnessed all the ups and downs of this beautiful and sometimes complicated process! It takes a lot of commitment, determination, patience and can be very stressful but it also requires a lot of LOVE, which is exactly what these little angels are... 💙🙏🏼🤍 It’s already beautiful seeing your dream come true but we’re so proud of you guys to be the first openly gay couple to hold a Greek Orthodox Baptism in Greece led by Archbishop Elpidophoros of America! It’s time to change history and to have orthodox religious groups accept gay couples and families like everyone else!! 🙏🏼 It was beautiful and felt surreal standing there with you guys during the ceremony. Thank you for bringing all of us together and it’s an honor being one of Alexios’ god fathers. He’s so perfect and smart already and we can’t wait to watch them both grow and evolve in life!
