One of the most exciting openings of the summer—from the team behind Four Horsemen. The space is warm, textured, and thoughtfully designed: bar and window seating up front, an art-lined middle section with semi-private booths, and a larger open dining room in the back. 🫛 Fava beans with pecorino toscano & fennel ($23): Light, aromatic, and a refreshing start. The grassy sweetness of the fava was layered with salty pecorino, while mint and fennel lifted the dish with a fresh, herbal note. 7.5/10 🍅 Bucatini with sungold pomodoro & ricotta salata ($30): The sauce had a vibrant acidity balanced by creamy, salty ricotta. A summer pasta I’d happily eat again and again. 9.5/10 🌶 Farfallone with Calabrian chili butter & smoked pancetta ($28): Rich, savory, and a touch salty. Pancetta added great depth, but the pasta shape was thin, making the sauce feel a bit heavy. 7/10 🦪 Manila clams with saffron, vermouth, and lemon ($28): Bright, citrusy broth with chopped zucchini. One bite had a bit of sand, which knocked it down to 6.5/10.😅 This is their first cocktail program—and it’s impressive. Creative, refreshing, and well-balanced. 🍅 Pomozoni ($19): Gin, sungold tomato, salt, and lemon. Bright, clean, not too savory or sweet. 9/10 🥥 Safe Harbor ($18): A cucumber-coconut gin fizz. Light, smooth, herbal. 8/10 🍫 Tiramisu ($15) with ☕️ Speed Dial espresso martini ($20): The tiramisu truly stood out—perfectly soaked ladyfingers and airy cream. The cocktail (vodka, Maru espresso, biscotti liqueur, amaro) was the perfect finish. 11/10 If you’re into ingredient-driven Italian food with a creative edge, strong cocktails, and natural wines—this one’s worth the wait. ✨ Vibe: 9/10 🪞 Decor: 9/10 🤍 Service: 10/10 🛎 Host Experience: 9/10 🍽️ Presentation: 8/10 🍝 Food Overall: 8.3/10 🍸 Drink Overall: 9/10 📍I Cavallini . . #nyc #nycfood #nyceats #williamsburgbrooklyn #italianfood
