I love this audio because it’s so true, in life and in the gym you shouldn’t compare yourself to anyone but you, everyone is on their own journey on their own time, worry about you being better than you were yesterday and just watch what can happen 🙌🏻

I’ve been working on my muscle ups, some people hate on these because they say you can use alot of momentum, which can end up not benefiting you during your workout.

Personally, I think it’s not what you do, but how you do it.

If you can go slow and controlled and allow yourself to start with a pull-up motion and continue your movement, and as you come down and start into your next rep, you need to make sure you reset and don’t allow momentum to guide you in the early reps. Now as you fatigue and want to gain those extra reps, I think it’s ok for you to use some momentum but not all the time as it won’t lead to as much muscle growth in the long run.
