“ Where is the Warmth” - The Bakers Wife This was hands down one of the hardest songs I have ever attempted. Walking into the Stephen Schwartz session I had one goal, believe that I can sing a ballad. It’s no surprise that my singing journey had been a rough one, and Ballads have always scared me since I am a big brassy belter. I convinced myself that in order to be “ good” I must belt. With that I put a wall up when it came to singing anything legit or soft. Lindsay completely healed that fear within one session. She assigned this song to me and knew I could do it, even though it was out of my comfort zone. This song is now one of my favorites and I am so incredibly grateful that I have a space like “Actor Therapy” to continuously push me and give me that reassurance that I can do hard things ❤️ And as always shout out to my Carrie girl for getting me to a place where dreaming and believing was even a possibility.
