Angela Lansbury was terrific when I photographed her in 1990...we discussed both living in the UK when WWII broke out, and how our careers have both been made in America.... And she may be the most thoughtful actress I have ever met... I told her my daughter, Wendy, had just graduated from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London and was living in Los Angeles, working on several TV shows including '90210' which was a huge hit at the time. The next week or so Wendy called Gigi and me in New York to say she had just been cast as a young Scottish girl in two episodes of "Murder She Wrote." I will always smile when I think of and have a soft spot in my heart for the incredible Miss Angela Lansbury. RIP. #angelalansbury #murdershewrote #gaslight
