Serving you squishy belly realness because skin moves and that’s amazing 🙌🏻 I was having a wonderful chat with @amyallison_xo and we were talking about how wonderful it’s been to be away with someone else who is likeminded about their views on not trying to be skinny. Her confidence is absolutely contagious and is one of the most gorgeous things about her. It was our penultimate night of being here we realised that neither one of us has has spoken negatively about our bodies in the 10 days since being here and it was a truly lovely moment. And then we realised how sad it was that that is such a rarity among our friends and people in general. We have eaten, drunk when we wanted to, trying all the cuisines, and then put bikinis on and run into the sea with our jiggly bits every single day and all we’ve done is giggle, have stupid amounts of fun, and think about where we’re going to eat next. As well as hyping each other up by calling ourselves 10/10s every 3 mins 😂 I would love the narrative to not be that we need to make ourselves smaller in order to have a good time. The whole ‘I’ll be happy if I’m thinner’ is a lie and I’ll say it again and louder for those in the back; you were not put on this planet to loose weight. Go out and enjoy your gorgeous life/body/soul because 40 years from now you will remember the experience of a beautiful life and happy memories and not if you had a god damn roll on show.
