OSCAR ISAAC. A light study with the wonderful actor. I recently watched Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood and was amazed, how mean he played that miserable prick of a king in it!! 👑 I was lucky enough to collaborate with Oscar several times over the years and must say, he is such a humble guy and wonderful to work with. This portrait I found in my archive from our first collaboration for @time , for their @starwars portfolio. We worked in a small village near Madrid, Spain. It’s a very simple set up. I like different light sources from structured to very soft💡lights. They all are beautiful and equally important. Basically the are just the range between cloud covered sky and crisp sun. Not that we could ever emulate the beauty of natural light (at least not me) - but at least we got equipment to play with 😂. As much I remember there was a 135 Octa @elinchrom_ltd from the left, (two stops below exposure), one @profoto hard strip as fill from below, and a small strip light camera left.
