February was enlightening...
📗
These are the seven books I read in February, some easier to read than others.
📘
#6. The Four is about Facebook, Google, Amazon and Apple and how they positioned themselves to own their markets. Very interesting ideas and also an entertaining read.
#7. The Ride of a Lifetime is about Robert Iger’s road to Disney and his ride to date. Very interesting guy and shares his philosophies on leadership. You get a more corporate perspective of Disney.
#8. Self Made Success is a practice guide for being successful. I saw the shark tank episode and thought why not give the book a shot. It’s not the most eloquent or well written book but has good ideas and pointers.
#9. Human Errors is awesome. Really fun and surface level read about human anatomy and how evolution didn’t do us favors all the time but how it still works. Learned a lot in this book about humans.
#10. Built to Sell was recommended by my wife (@jordantbecerra) about building your business to run itself. I’ve always believed that if you can’t step away from your business for a week without issues, you don’t own a business, you own a JOB. This book hits that point hard and provides great value on how to build to sell (or scale) and it’s in narrative format which is nice. Def recommend!
#11. Paradox of Choice was referenced in The Happiness Advantage so I bought it. Really interesting points but follows the theme of Thinking Fast and Slow which is an amazing book (but long). So it was a bit repetitive, if you don’t have time for TF&S then read this!
#12. Lincoln. Well, it’s a Lincoln book, so it’s obviously great. If you like US History, this is a fantastic book. Reads like a novel and is jam packed with facts and insight into who Lincoln was. Highly recommend!

Got some good ones lined up for March, excited to keep learning and sharing!
