Professor Diniz‘s first day of school! 📚 Immensely grateful to @denys_drozdyuk for such a wonderful opportunity to teach “Dance Forms” at University Mount Saint Vincent! Also grateful for the two of the most inspirational teachers I could’ve asked for, Bruce Levitt and Philip Leib, who not only helped us all see how knowledge is power through a myriad of lenses, but how compassion, care and understanding in the classroom can inspire the continuation of your learning journey, opening doors with a constant quest to be curious and creative… Their unwavering support was pivotal when I questioned myself in Shakespearean and artistic spheres and I know this widespread belief in their students allowed many to become the academics, artists and positive, equipped people they are today🙏 In addition to the formal facts, figures and practice of dance, I hope to pass on an equally encouraging, nurturing environment… Excited to meet everyone at UMSV!
