My hair stylists know that they are never allowed to retire because ya girl has TRUST ISSUES!!! 🙈🙈🙈 I hate that we ALL have had this fear of sitting in a salon chair, praying that the stylist ACTUALLY knows how to cut curly hair. We all have had that fear of going in for a TRIM & leaving with a BIG CHOP!! 😖 Curly hair is VERY different from straight hair so I personally do not believe that just because you are a “certified hair stylist “ that you know how to cut & style natural or curly hair. Sadly there is STILL a lack of education when it comes to curls. The best way to find a curly hair stylist is by RECOMMENDATION of someone with curly hair! If you see someone with a beautiful cut, ask where they go! If you find someone online, check out their Instagram, LOOK at their work and see if they have styled hair that is similar to yours.
