Wild first day of our trip to Mammoth. Started off the day with a last minute emergency vet visit for Marty cause he was shitting liquid every two hours for a week! Hes doing ok and Grandma is taking good care of him. Drive up was rad. This was Enzos first long trip in a car. Since we got him hes been scared of the car. He would willingly jump in cause he is so eager to please but he would just shake the whole time and sit on the floor leaning against the driver seat. Having Maisie in the car with him yesterday really boosted his confidence. He slept the whole way and was super relaxed. Towards the end of the drive when we were pulling into town, we rolled the windows down and Maisie (aka the hairy torpedo) did her thing. Enzo watched her and eventually stuck his head out the window too. Watching these two comfort and learn from each other has been a really beautiful thing to witness. A lot of hi-fives happening these days 🐾
