One of my many highlights this weekend was singing bv’s with my bestie(for 20+ years) @msraquelbrown and queen @vulavox (first time but hopefully the first of many!) for the @metropoleorkest conducted by the master himself @julesbuckleymusic at @northseajazz !!! MISSISSIPPI GODDAM! @ledisi and @l.i.s.a.f.i.s.c.h.e.r paid homage to NINA SIMONE! Ladies it was a privilege to share the stage with you! You inspire! Gifts from God! I have never in all my years experienced a performance in such a profound way! God’s continued blessings over your lives! Much love Shirma! 🙏🏾❤️
