This is an important one:) so stay with me. Once in a while you get a client that makes you understand that a tattoo can change someone’s life for the better, in a very deep way. Ilona came a while ago for a consultation, she was hesitant to show me her arm. She suffered heavy burns all over her right arm as a kid, skin grafts and a great order of pain and she was left with very heavy scaring across most of her right arm and chest. She wanted to know if we can do something and I said yes immediately!!! I thought because of the heavy scaring something organic will be good for us, she likes peonies so I draw a rough sketch, she looked and smiled so we booked a date. She trusted me, and I couldn’t fail her! She came in for her first appointment I drew everything on her, and we went for it. Yesterday, after multiple session that Ilona set like the champion that she is, we finished her sleeve. We both were emotional and proud and grateful. She said that she wear T-shirts for the first time in years, and no more long sleeve dresses and it’s time for a swimsuit that she hasn’t wore for over 30 years. This moments make incredibly proud of my craft, of the art of tattooing!!!
