Proverbs 3:5-6 ”Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.“ - At the beginning of the year I told God that this going to be the year I figure if I belong in the fishing industry or do I need to focus more on college and full time ministry. I told Him I will go with any outcome because it is His plan and not mine. For a little while this year I tried to a lot of it on my own. I constantly worried about my finances, upcoming fishing tournaments, and if I was going to make it. God let me know I did not have my full trust in Him and I needed to change that. When He told me this I started to not worry about any of these by things and told myself if it’s in God’s plans then He will provide me a way to be able to make it. When I did this He has showed up and showed out. I believe this win is just getting to be the start of my fishing career and can’t wait to see where God takes me.
