Project 1 of the 2022 @frogtape Paintover Challenge is complete! I am one of 5 DIYers each completing 5 projects using @frogtape and then YOU will vote for one of us to win $5,000 AND $10,000 to the charity of our choice. I’m playing for @houseofhopegb. Word on the street is one of you will walk away with some cash as well! Designer @taniyanayak presented us with 5 design trends to guide our projects. The trend of the first project is “Embrace”. Embrace is the feeling of comfort, coziness and warmth, characterized by soft textures and palettes. My sister’s master bedroom felt a little cold and plain so I decided it would be perfect place to apply the theme. I added wallpaper panels framed by trim and then used @frogtape to protect the wallpaper when painting. I painted the rest of the walls white, upholstered her bed, and added a touch of pink and some textures in her bedding. I love how peaceful, calming and cozy the room turned out! What do you think?
