@umiwinterpark is an intimate sushi and Japanese-Korean fusion restaurant in Winter Park that has been around for many years. I have been a fan since I moved back to Orlando years ago. The quality here is some of the best in the area. The owners are from Korea and France, so you will notice nods to French cooking here, as well. The ingredients they use in all their dishes is NEVER frozen, even when costs are up. They pride themselves on providing only the highest quality fish. They make their own sauces from scratch, which is awesome! Two items of note is that they use Big eye tuna, blue fin tuna, and faroe island salmon. Umi has a wide variety of dishes and there is truly something for everyone. My favorites were the short rib, the paradise roll, cilantro roll, and the bulgogi truffle udon. Every dish was fantastic though so picking favorites was tough. Please consider Umi for a date night or a get together with friends. The vibes are perfect for either.
