My bday wish was granted thanks to my wonderful neighbour in the country, John Deacon. Islamic scholar & Imam, Shaykh Ibrahim Mogra who has been awarded for his work building bridges between communities, gave a sermon today at our local church to celebrate the end of Ramadan. He talked about the importance of celebrating our differences and protecting our neighbours. “The Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) said, “He or she is not one of us (meaning, is not a Muslim) if their neighbour is not safe from the harm of the hands and the tongue”. ⛪️ 🕌 🕍 ☪️ ✝️ ✡️
