This has been one of my favorite shoots to date. I came up with this concept of using an old military parachute, and as I was brainstorming concepts, I knew I wanted to use it as a garment. Amazingly, the parachute has a perfect hole at the top that the model could squeeze through. It was perfect! This shoot is special for me because it came out exactly as I had imagined, if not better. The sense of scale, texture and light in this image all come together to create such a captivating moment. - The lighting and production of this image was fairly simple. For this set, we ditched the strobes and used a old 2k cinema light to camera right. On a medium roller, we put it about as high as the stand would go, then put some white V-flats on camera left for some fill. I loved the harsh and warm quality of light that the 2k gave.
