Precious time spent with a legend. Dame Angela was a regular at @mbnewadventures performances over the years and it was such a privilege to be able to share my work with her. It was her performance in Gypsy at the Piccadilly Theatre in 1973 that inspired a 13 year old East End boy to dream of a life in the theatre so her kind words meant more to me than those of any critic and her warmth and generosity to me and my company after performances she attended are memories that we will all treasure forever 💔 #DameAngelaLansbury
