CCC: Courmayeur - Champex - Chamonix 100km / 6000m+ in 12hrs 35 mins I might not have had the best preparation for this one, but I’m extremely proud of how I executed the race. With hundreds of runners blasting past me up the first hill, I felt stupid holding back...but then again it was a stupidly long race. In my head I’d broken down the course into 8 chunks. Focusing on hitting my splits for each section, pretending like I was skiing smoothly uphill, flowing downhill and gelling every 30 minutes made time tick by. My teammate @kern_martin helped me get through the the aid stations efficiently. I don’t think we could have done much better 👌 It all came together and I was so happy my body cooperated on the day that it mattered!
