A chapter in life that I am so beyond grateful is coming to an end. The year that changed my perspective on everything. I am so fortunate that I am sitting here, able to make this post while it breaks my heart knowing that not everyone experiences this outcome. To my mom, you are a reflection of the battles you’ve fought and the hope that carried you through. Your smile is more vibrant, carrying the weight of this hard-fought victory and the relief of overcoming immense challenges. To every single individual & family who has ever had to bear witness to this awful disease - my heart goes out to you.
