Just got back from 10 days, alone in the Elk woods. It was awesome! I hiked 74.5 miles, climbed over 8k vert, slept in cool places, ate many freeze dried meals, got eaten alive, bumped Elk, got winded, called a Bull into 30y and had multiple conversations with Bugling Bulls. In the end, I did not kill. I did however make many mistakes and learned greatly from each one of them. And to me, that knowledge is worth it’s weight in gold. I am very excited for the next hunt with an all time crew 🤘 @sitkagear
