Isa. Born in water at home, December 28th, 10 years ago. Ten years! Longest shortest decade, that’s parenting. A Capricorn. Instinctual, passionate, courageous, determined, sensitive, loving, loyal. Kind. Gosh, there isn’t a day I don’t give thanks for Isa’s life. I thank our tribe for all your prayers and support, for you see we have a warrior in our midst, and even warriors need their people. I thank our ancestors and angels which are perched on flying Hawks wings, protecting from above. I thank the nurses and doctors of NY Presbyterian / Cornell Medical Pediatric Neuroology & Epileptic department. We are forever grateful. 10 years old. Double digits. God is good.
