NEW VIDEO! Just finished a long term video project I let sit for 2 years. Kings of the dirt! LINK IN BIO! - My personal favorite moment of this trip was sending Kessel run. Sitting at roughly 50ish feet tall this bloc was way bigger than I expected. That day started out by searching through obvious unclimbed lines, as we walked through a maze of boulders. I stumbled upon the lower part of the boulder. The swoop feature really peaked my interest and I began cleaning all the choss away. After getting the rock to a place that I thought could be climbable I figured we could come back another day and I could climb it for the first time as we didn't have crash pads with us. But, Keith mentioned to me that he had a pair of Phantoms in his backpack, I quickly through them on and decided I would try while we were still at the boulder. I figured, the ground was soft, and the bloc wasn't too tell, But little did I know what lay ahead. Being a blind man I often can't see how tall things are or what the terrain ahead looks like, and I don't think Matt nor Keith knew what would come after I stood on top of the false summit either. This was the purest form of expression I have had in a long time. An onsight first ascent with a visual impairment. Oh yeah, I had no guidance as I was to high up for them to help me. I had to feel my way up this mega slab. The question begs to be asked, at what point does it become free solo climbing? • • • • @boulderdenim @frictionlabs @evolv_worldwide @rhinoskinsolutions @physivantage @natureclimbing @eone @maximropes @organicclimbing #climbinginspiration #climbinglife #climbingrocks #boulderinglife #boulderingproblems #outdoorslifestyle #naturelifestyle #climbingislife #blindclimber #theblindascensionist #accessiblityforall #disabledsports #blindness #blindclimbing #venga #salas #gooutsideandexplore #goclimb #gooutsideandexplore #climbing #bouldering #adventure #explore #nature #outdoors
