It's back! Our annual creative workshop series, Creative Conversations, is happening on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at The Complex. This dynamic series is designed to be a day of learning and collaboration that will assist Fringe participants on creative development, the writing process, and mentorship in the arts. Sessions during this year's Creative Conversations Event will include: 12-1:15 pm Writing Queer Solo Work (co-presented with @celebrationthtr): A discussion on Queer Solo Theatre, its impact on the creator and the audience, and of course, how to make it happen. 1:30-2:45pm Creating Theatre in the 2020s: A conversation on the future of theatre, and how the art form has recently evolved with the rise of technology, accessibility initiatives, cultural storytelling, and the recent pandemic. 3:00-4:15pm Writing for Fringe 101: A deep dive with past Fringe award winners on how they approach writing for a Fringe audience. This event will have ASL interpretation and will be available to view on Facebook Live. Please be sure to reserve your spot at each individual workshop ahead of time, as spaces will fill up! Tickets to these workshops are "pay what you can" with a suggested ticket price of $5, and can be reserved here at the link in our bio or hollywoodfringe.org All proceeds from workshops hosted with partner organizations will go directly to that organization.
