It’s #PolarBearWeek! “While wanting to capture images of polar bears in the summer started back in 2015, it wasn’t until 2020 and 2021 when myself and my team would get our shot at sleeping next to the arctic’s apex predator. Ultimately, we would go on to spending 33 days in the remote location, braving storms, gale force winds, and of course the bears in order to deliver some extraordinary images of polar bears in the summer. While living with the bears we would go on to document various intimate behaviours like a mom nursing her cub and also new hunting behaviours like a male bear hunting terns with the beautiful fireweed in the foreground.” Learn more: @polarbearsinternational Photographed by: @mywildlive
