One of my very favorite Halloween traditions has been watching “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” with my family. We did it when I was young, and now I get to watch it with my kids and it’s absolutely wonderful!🎃 . For years I’ve been wanting to recreate this scene from the movie in pie form, and this year after I purchased these adorable Peanuts mugs from @williamssonoma , I knew that this was the year to finally create it!🎃 . So here it is, The Great Pumpkin...Pie! And each delicious slice comes filled childhood nostalgia.😍🎃 . Also, there’s a rumor that Charles Schulz lived in Colorado Springs for a while and that the iconic @venetucci.farm and pumpkin patch was one of his inspirations for the pumpkin patch in this story. So, of course we go every year! And it’s true, there’s nothing but sincerity as far as the eye can see.🧡🎃 .
