When I was invited to be a Speaker at @tedx_official, I immediately knew what I wanted to talk about. Decolonizing Identity. I have struggled with it for most of my life. And once I started with this decolonizing journey, I came to realize that it is not only an Indigenous matter. Decolonization is for EVERYONE. No matter where you are from, there is a history of colonization. I’m extremely grateful to the @tedxuniontownshipwomen organizers for the amazing opportunity of letting me share my voice and passion, I’ve never felt more vulnerable! It wouldn’t have been the same without the support of @laurynwhitney , @mexican__excellence and @gaberaiyell Urpillay Sonqollay, you are the best!
