Group fitness edition 💦🔥🙃 love you mean it!
1. GET OFF YOUR PHONE. So distracting and disrespectful. Unless you are a doctor on call or have notified the instructor for an emergency situation - PUT THE PHONE DOWN. Disconnect and touch grass for 50 minutes, you’ll be okay 😘
2. STOP CHANGING THE WORKOUT. Obviously I’m not talking about modifying for injuries or for taking it at the pace you need. I’m calling out the girlies adding ankle weights and extra pulses the whole class 👀 trust that your instructor knows what they’re doing and they will get you to that burn and shake. If you really want to do your own workout don’t take a group class 🤷🏻♀️
3. SHOW UP ON TIME. Yall. We know the subways suck. Get it together. Missing the warm up and jumping right into class isn’t safe. Not to mention you’re gonna make everyone around you mad when you’re weaving inbetween bodies 10 minutes into class❌
4. REST AND RECOVERY IS MORE BENEFICIAL THAN TAKING 5 CLASSES A DAY. Your body needs time to recover. If you’re constantly skipping cool downs, taking multiple classes a day on an empty stomach, and chugging a latte between workouts, you will burn out, & you won’t see the results you want. That’s a promise. Chill 👏 Out👏
