Day 2… finally, beach day. 🏝️ The morning started with a breakfast that felt like joy on a plate — rich in flavor, rich in color, rich in everything my body needed. And I realized my skin had already started tanning. My chocolate was getting deeper by the hour, and honestly… I loved it. After a quick coaching session, we headed downtown to grab lunch to go. I ordered a drink at a restaurant called Hook’d that had way more alcohol than I expected, so I didn’t finish it. Then it was time for the boat excursion. Our captain was so kind, and the moment we stepped on the boat the vibes just flowed. We listened to kompa, we danced, we laughed, and we took in the beauty of the islands around us. The warm water, the salt in the air, the sun on our skin… it all felt like home. We talked about our childhoods in Haiti, our memories, our dreams for Haiti to get better, and the hope of going back home someday. And the laughter… my God. We laughed like we had known each other for years, not just days. That sisterhood, that ease, that connection — it felt like something God handpicked. By the time we returned to the villa for dinner, the day already felt full. And that crème brûlée… living rent-free in my mind. I needed more than one, honestly. But the moment that will stay with me forever happened before we even got off the boat. Our captain told us how beautiful it was to watch us together — how blessed and lucky we were to have this kind of friendship, this kind of laughter, this kind of joy. And hearing that from someone on the outside… it touched me. It’s one thing to experience a beautiful moment. It’s another thing for someone else to witness it and see how real and authentic it is. That meant everything. Day 2 gave me sun, saltwater, sisterhood, and a memory I’ll carry for a long time. Day 3… I’m ready for whatever you have for us. 🧖‍♀️ #saititravels #momstrip2025 #firsttimemom #stthomas #USVI
