So Vol 1 of Pigeonface is finished and printed. A transatlantic collaboration between me and Pittsburgh artist @twesleysnead it follows escapades of a drunk pigeon-headed fictional avian Englishman. One who lives in an airport and knocks about with his pilot friend Sandra and airport worker Bobert. He eats almonds with Alec Baldwin and finds Neil Tennant’s filofax among other things (mainly drinking). I came up with the idea while actually hallucinating with tiredness early one morning and, as T.Wesley Snead is the master of drawing drop outs with animal heads, I asked if he’d be up for it. And he was so we’ve been passing scripts and drawing back and forth for a while whenever we’ve had time to work on it. Now it’s a 48-page book of madness. We’ve been doing it for 3 years and I’ve never actually spoken to T.Wesley Snead and I don’t know what the T stands for. Weird world isn’t it. but I think we’ve proved that Zoom isn’t actually necessary. As T.
